On Tuesday, 12 May 2020, at 8.00 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on TV. This address was about the ongoing corona lockout in the country. In this address, the Prime Minister gave information about the government decision to be taken, in which 20 lakh crores will be spent for the help of labour, farmers and poor people.
This package is equivalent to 10% of India’s GDP. 20 lakh crore package will be spent by the Government of India to fight this corona epidemic. The Prime Minister has designed this package in his address, especially for the MSME sector.
The package of the Reserve Bank of India and the package of May 12 was found to be 20 lakh crore economic packages. This package will be called Self Dependent India Scheme. With the announcement of this scheme, information about lockdown 4.0 was also given.

Through this scheme, the Prime Minister appealed to increase the use of locally manufactured materials. The use of locally made items will benefit the small business and small manufacturer more. This is a package of relief for the businessmen of the country who are suffering losses due to lockdown. n the future, these steps gave a new identity to the small industry of India and they will stand in front of the big industry.
