Odisha Government Extends Lockdown till 30 April

Odisha Chief Minister Sri. Naveen Patnaik has decided to increase the lockdown time in the state from 17 April to 30 April through a video message. And the Government of Odisha has requested the Prime Minister to extend this lockdown to the whole country.

In this lockdown, it has been decided to keep the educational institutions closed till June 17 and also the Central Government has been requested to postpone the railways and air services.

Corona has seen rapid growth in Odisha and India this week. And India does not yet have that much testing kit available. Lockdown is necessary to control this epidemic.

Even before the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, the Odisha government has established and is in the operation of a 1000-based Bikist Corona Special Hospital. New testing equipment was brought together and all private government hospitals were used together.
